Jeffrey Tubbs believes that by strengthening the connection between people and the places they share, we can help shape our neighborhoods to maximize shared value. Tubbs has been dedicated to personal alignment with this value set, by locating both his home and business within his development area for a decade; ensuring the community’s return on investment is both positive and equitable.

Tubbs holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and prior to JDT’s development, had 8 years of experience working for the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia, navigating the complex political landscapes and policies.

Jeffrey is a member of both the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Building Industry Association of Philadelphia (BIA), and is a strong advocate for the ACE Mentor Program (ACE) by providing career exposure opportunities and experiences to those interested in the design and construction industry.

Emily Nussbaum Tubbs, is a graduate of Drexel University’s College of Media Arts & Design. She possesses a highly specialized skill set that enables her to design, manage, lease, and sell all JDT residential projects. With a strong background in graphic design and boutique marketing for various luxury products, Emily plays an integral role in the company’s operations. She manages the entire personal rental portfolio as well as over 10 units for investors she has sold to over the years.

Emily is an accomplished agent and a versatile team member, often referred to as a “human Swiss army knife” due to her ability to handle a wide range of tasks with expert precision. Since early 2008, she has personally overseen hundreds of real estate transactions, ensuring each one is seamless for clients.
On a personal note, Emily is a wife and mother to two children, and they live in South Kensington in a five-unit building that she and her husband, Jeff, built in 2020. Emily and Jeff are local builders and social-impact developers who have been working together full-time since 2015. While Jeff focuses on development and construction, Emily handles design, sales, leasing, and management.

Emily’s real estate business is entirely referral-based and word-of-mouth. She began her career with Keller Williams in 2008 and joined Compass in January 2020. Much of her work is handled off-market within her network. Emily has been helping clients buy and sell properties throughout the City and the Main Line for 15 years, primarily dealing with off-market homes. She values working with referrals from past clients, friends, and family, allowing her to be selective and devote the necessary time and attention to each client. Emily prioritizes honesty and ensures her clients receive the value they deserve by providing the necessary information, not just what they want to hear.

Tiffany Millner is a registered architect in PA & DE and holds a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Temple University. She has extensive experience in non-profit direction, fundraising strategies, graphic design, strategic communications, community engagement, youth mentorship, and developing human capital management strategies within the design & construction industry.

Tiffany is the recipient of AIA Philadelphia’s 2021 Thomas U. Walter Award for her contributions to the design and construction industry on local and national levels, and her dedication to community service, impact and advocacy. In 2023, Temple University recognized her as a distinguished Alumna for her career-long efforts in transforming the profession of architecture and awarded her a seat within the Gallery of Success.

Today, she develops strategies to infuse equity into socially impactful development projects through authentic research, engagement and collaborative synergies. Additionally, Tiffany leverages professional networks to provide support and opportunities to historically under-invested communities for the co-creation of shared communal spaces.
